About PnP & the AgoraCart Module:
Plug 'n Pay Technologies, Inc. (www.plugnpay.com) is a secure payment gateway service. Our main goal is to provide our merchants with secure methods of accepting credit cards and other payment types on the Internet. We have grown from this main goal to provide additional supportive ecommerce solutions which include order form wizards, shopping cart solutions, membership and subscription services, digital download services, pay per view services, and wireless payment solutions, as well as many others.
Some highlights of the Plug N Pay system:
- They don't use software; rather they are CGI based. (they run scripts on their servers to dynamically generate code and perform system functions.)
- No software is required to use their system if you utilize their HTML link from your site to their servers. (API and other direct connection methods available.)
- They use 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology for transaction security, which is the industry standard.
- They work with your merchant bank and merchant processor to provide an all inclusive ecommerce package.
You would use Plug ‘n Pay’s services to authenticate credit cards and to collect online funds. You may also elect to use other (optional) services for more advanced ecommerce solutions/needs; such as recur billing, password management and alternate shopping cart services, just to name a few.
The AgoraCart payment gateway library upgrade will seamlessly integrate Agora Cart & their secure payment gateway. No SSL encryption is required on your site/server to support secure transactions. They have configured the module to use the SSL encrypted billing pages located on their secure servers to accept your secure transaction information.
With the easy to use, powerful payment gateway manager interface, setup & usage of your PnP account with AgoraCart is fast & easy. You can't go wrong with an AgoraCart / Plug 'n Pay setup.
How To Install:
This install process assumes that user has installed AgoraCart version 4.0h or newer & used the default directory structure for the AgoraCart setup.
You must have a Plug ‘n Pay account to use this module. If you need to open an account, please contact Plug ‘n Pay
1 - Extract/Upload the two library files ("PlugnPay_order-lib.pl" & "PlugnPay_mgr-lib.pl") to the 'store/library' directory.
2 - Extract/Upload the HTML file ("PlugnPay-orderform.html") to the 'store/html/main' directory.
3 - Open the Agora Store Manager & login.
4 - Click on the "Program Settings" link in the top menu
5 - Click on the "Main Agora Store Settings" button
6 - For the 'Primary Payment Gateway' select "PlugnPay".
7 - Click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page
8 - Click on the "Payment Gateway" link in the top menu
9 - Adjust the Plug ’n Pay gateway settings according to your preferences.
10 - When completed, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
11 - Once the changes are saved, the new gateway settings will become active.
12 - Customers may now begin to pay securely for their orders via the Plug ‘n Pay gateway.

Please be sure to provide us the version of AgoraCart you have installed and the issue, comment or question you have about the upgrade.
For faster service please refer to their Documentation & FAQ sections prior to contacting technical support. New support issues need to be placed through the online helpdesk. Please also remember to include your Plug 'n Pay username in all correspondences with them.
